guest house in koh samui

Hi there, is there a good guesthouse around 400bt per night in Koh samui? And is the wooden barge boat ferrying cargoes from Surat Thani still taking backpackers to koh samui?

Yes, you can still find places for 400. We did right smack on Chaweng Beach near the Arc Bar the last time I was there. In Maenam, I tend to stay at Naplarn Villa which is nice and quiet. It is in your price range. I saw a few down in Lamai in that range as well when I was last there. Just show up and have a look around. It helps if you have a motorbike!
