Im flying TAM from Salvador to Rio at 3am on a Tuesday.
How do I go about getting there cheaply? I cant afford a taxi. Do busses go all night. When is the last bus from Praca de se:

as you probably know the taxi is outrageously expensive ($60-70) as the airport is a long way away. I would catch the bus to the airport at about 10pm ( think that's the last bus from Praca da Se and doza a the airport. That's what i reckon...

| carlos6906:25 UTC21 Jul 2007 | Nope. But I know a driver who does it for 40 and that's as cheap as it gets. Either that or as #2 suggests go early and enjoy the splendours of Magalhaes. Actually given the state of the airports going early isn't a bad idea.

| evertrip00:12 UTC23 Jul 2007 | many taxi drivers can do it for R$40 and R$50 ... just look around and talk to some drivers ... I always do this.
Anyway , if taxis are not an option take the bus that leaves by 10PM and wait at the airport ... you may sleep on the chairs at the third level ...
