Getting a visa fast for Laos in Phnom PenhCountry forums / South-East Asia Mainland / Cambodia
Hi everyone. Was wondering if anyone knows how I can get a visa for Laos fairly fast in Phnom Penh. Apparently it takes a few days if you go to the Laotian embassy but some travel agencies do it faster, but prices appear to vary for their commission. Could anyone give me any recommendations as to who to go to and what a decent commission would be? I need to organise this visa in advance as I want to use the overland crossing on the Mekong and they apparently don't give visas on arrival as they do in Vientiane, etc.
Global travel, across the street from Sharkeys, has done my visa stuff for many years, he doesn't overcharge and is very friendly and proffesional | 1

prices for laos visa vary with YOUR nationality- so if you dont know yours, prices quote will always vary. Most Laos embassies now charge extra for speedy=next/same day delivery | 4
thanks everyone. i ended up arranging a visa at "lucky motorcylces" on monivong just a few blocks north of sihanouk road. FYI: a canadian visa costs $52, ready the next day. an american one costs around $45. you can get same day service for $10 extra. | 5
Just as mentioned in Lonely Planet you can get a 30 day visa at arrival. Yes, cost will depend on you nationality. e.g. German pay $ 30.00. I got this info from the embassy in Germany. | 6
