Footware

Does anyone have any suggestions for what types of shoes and boots would be best all around for Honduras in March and April? The travel will be split between the Bay Islands and the areas in and around Copan Ruinas and Gracias.

I wear a pair of nylon Keen H2O or Venice sandals and also pack flipflops for showers and beaches. Some people prefer Amphibious shoes like Salomon Tech Amphibians or Merrell Aquasports (like my husband). If you search you'll find lots of opinions.

I'll second the Keen H20's. Wore them for 3 weeks in Guatemala & Honduras and never put the hiking shoes on.
