Flying from Vietnam to Indonesia / Bali

Hi everyone. I'm looking at options of getting from Northern Vietnam to Bali end of Sept/early Oct. Currently I'm looking at flying from Hanoi to Denpasar for around £110-£130.

Just wondering does anyone have experience of doing something similar? If so, any alternative routes / detours that might makes things as cheap as possible?

Since it is 5 months from now it could be cheaper to fly by Air Asia to KL and from there to Denpasar. If time is nor important.

For example, flight Hanoi-KL-Bali on 28/09 is 96£.

As above, Air Asia is the way to go, changing flights at Kuala Lumpur. But it is too early to get a good price for a flight. Air Asia will not discount fares for September for several more months. Wait until about 2-3 months before you want to fly, and you can get a great price then.

Jetstar Asia also flies from Saigon to Bali via Singapore

In September, the price is from $US118 one way excluding checked in luggage.
