fly from Sierpe or Drake Bay?

Our tour guide has us departing from the Drake Bay area via Sierpe and Palmar Sur airport. Isn't there an airport in Drake Bay itself that would be closer and thus save us the time of getting to Sierpe via boat?

Yes there is a airstrip in Drake Bay both Sansa and Nature air fly in/out.

It si more funa nd adventurous to go up the Pacific coast to the river, and up the river to Sierppe, and then taxi thru plantations to Palmur Sur.

Take ticotim's advice pure jungle adventure. Tim a little typo there is Palmar Sur. ;)

The reason for Sierpe and Palmar Sur Airport pick-up may simply be that your lodge prefers this pick-up point. enjoy
