Fly Bangkok to Mandalay

Please can someone advise me if it possible to fly direct form Bangkok to Mandalay and if so which airline?

Thanks for the visa help, going ahead with an online visa. All seems very straight forward now. I have checked and it is possible to get a visa on arrival in Mandaly you just have to pay the fees by credit card before hand. But can't find a flight at the moment.

Only international flights non stop into Mandalay is from Kunming and Chiang Mai. All others land at Yangon.. So you need to make a connection... Cheapest Bangkok > Yangon flight is with airasia (around USD 120.00 return).. Also Bagan air has a special at the moment for aound the same price. You might also want to take a look at Thai air and Bangkok air... not as cheap though..
Internal airlines in Myanmar are Mandalay air, Bagan air and Yangon air....
There are flights into Yangon from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore etc.

Take a train or fly with Air Asia from BKK to Chiang Mai, then fly with Air Mandalay from Chiang Mai to Mandalay on Thursday. I did that route as I did not want to visit Yangon twice.

If you can get to Yangon, there are a lot of flights from there to Mandalay. This site has a Myanmar Flights page that has information on flights.
