Flights Phenom Penh to Bangkok

Country forums / South-East Asia Mainland / Cambodia

Looking for cheap flights Phenom Penh to Bangkok. Any clues?

Heading into Cambodia from Thailand in August via bus, eventually boat to Phenom Penh and thinking of flying back to Bangkok.
Any reccomendations re travel, accomodation, must see and do's, etc would be great!

Yeah....Air Asia.

Think of doing it the other way round. Fly to PP then exit overland. Exiting is nicer than entering overland.

I agree with 3# definitely consider doing it the other way round as it will be cheaper and a lot less hassle.

I got 2 tickets for 92 euro via airasia.com, I found cheaper ones too, but I was to late with buying them

Last year I paid US$34 for the ticket (booked 1 week before the flight) plus the 500baht departure tax. Its a great price for the ticket but I had doubts over the safety of the plane I am not going to fly air asia again because of it. The plane we flew on was just too old and had that strong fuel smell throughout the cabin. Bangkok airlines for the same route or overland next time.

I have travelled with Bangkok Airlines, it was very very good, although more expensive.

I recall they had a lounge in PP airport for all passengers with free drinks and biscuits. They also had a decent snack on board too, which surprised me.
