Flights from U.S. to OsloCountry forums / Scandinavia & the Nordics / Norway
Hello. We are planning a visit to Oslo. Is anyone familiar with the best flights to avoid stops and changing planes? Do you prefer changing planes in London, Paris or elsewhere? Want to leave the U.S. and arrive in Oslo the next day as early as possible. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
Where are you traveling from? Continental has a nonstop to Oslo from Newark. AA/BA has a nonstop from various cities on the west coast to Heathrow, and then a short flight to Oslo. I suggest you do a search on yahoo travel or some sight like that and plug in your start city and Oslo, then you'll see the schedules across multiple airlines. | 1
Where in the USA? New York City? Chicago? Detroit? Miami? Cleveland? Boston? Newark? Orlando? San Diego? LA? New Orleans? Sacramento? Phoenix? Denver? Indianapolis? Seattle? Portland? Minneapolis? St. Paul? Buffalo? San Francisco? Tucson? Grand Rapids? Bellingham? Pittsburgh? Philadelphia? Houston? Dallas? San Jose? Fort Worth? Austin? Columbus? Charlotte? San Antonio? El Paso? Memphis? Nashville? Baltimore? Washington? Fresno? Las Vegas? Kansas City? Long Beach? Do I have to keep guessing??? | 2
Suggestions appreciated. If you want accurate suggestions, you should tell your departure airport in the USA because it can make an important difference. SAS and United have non-stop flights from Newark to Oslo. | 3
Departing from Austin, Texas. Would prefer to avoid Chicago and East Coast if possible. Thanks much. | 4
If you don't bother to drive to Houston, you can fly with KLM changing planes in Amsterdam, with Lufthansa, changing planes in Frankfurt, with Air France, changing planes in Paris, or with British Airways changing planes in London. | 5
