Flights between Madrid & Morocco

Country forums / Africa / Morocco

So I've found cheap flights from Madrid to Marrakech and then from Casablanca back to Madrid (cheaper than the ferry between Algeciras and Tangier alone!) and they are on easyjet so should I assume these are (fairly) trustworthy flights? We had been planning to take the ferry and then the train to Marrakech, but while it is probably missing out on an experience, we can't pass up the chance to save both money and time (and precious hours of sleep!) I am thinking this is a newer route for easyjet as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in my research on Morocco, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience or knew anything about this?

Thanks!!

Yes, it's a new flight. So far, I've only heard good things.

Thanks for the information! I'm going to spend a year in Spain starting next autumn and a visit (or two!) to Morocco is now definitely on my agenda.

They started only a few month ago with their base in Madrid.
We flew Madrid to Marrakech and Casablanca to Madrid for aprox 60 Euro in March.
No complaints, its easyjet, you know what you get. Pay little get little, be happy with it.
Just a tip, both our flights had over an hour delay. So if you are transferring, remember to keep engough time between flights, as you need to check in again when flying low cost airlines. We heard other passengers who were going to miss their connection in Madrid due to the delay in Casa.
