Flåm and Cycle Touring further north July and August this year

Hi

Last summer I cycled from Bergen to Oslo, but this year I hope to cycle/train from Bergen to Flåm and then cycle north of Flåm and explore some of the national parks, arching round and returning to Bergen.

I have two weeks to explore and as I cycled the Rallarvegan last year, might try to get to Flåm as quickly as possible.

Has anyone cycled the Flåm switchbacks and have any of you gone north afterwards? Are there any particularly stunning places I should take a look at on the route? What about places to camp?

I'm going to check the road tunnel situation, but if anyone has a suggestion for destinations after Flåm, heading north (but not too far so I can still cycle back to Bergen) then I'd greatly appreciate it.
