Can you get a drink on the trains? HSR and ESPECIALLY the slow-pokes. Club Car? Nothing better than watching the world go by while slamming vodka and 'somethings'.
Easy. Buy a bottle of alc before boarding, don't forget a mixer. Cheaper too. | 1
Yes, but to me anyway, there is something sleazy about drinking in a train seat or a bus for that matter.I like a nice dining/club car environment. I do, however, make the ''sleazy'' exception when I'm on an aircraft. Or a car, if not actually driving.Open-container be damned. | 2
The only alcohol drink you can buy on HSR is beer. | 3
That will work. | 4 | |
I didn't see any beer served on my HSR trips. BYOB. | 5
I am going to avoid the HSR, virtually at any cost, anyway. And, I ALWAYS have 'something' with me, everywhere I go, so thanks for the tip, 5 | 6
the HSR is awesome. The only reason to avoid it is if you think it's too expensive. I love the HSR. Love love love love it. But they only sell beer. Slow trains do not have a club car and don't serve hard liquor or beer. BYOB, totally. Nobody cares what you drink - it's not illegal. | 7
