ferry ticket advice

Some of you may have purchased your ferry tickets online, and you've probably printed up vouchers. Those vouchers then have to be exchanged for actual tickets at the appropriate ferry office.

I've met quite a few people who have missed their ferry due to the delay they faced in exchanging their voucher. It seems that those folks didn't allow enough to find the ferry office concerned, and then possibly stand in a queue to exchange their voucher. I've met these people after they've sadly returned to the hotel/hostel.

If your ferry is leaving early in the morning, you're probably better off arriving at the terminal at least 1 hour beforehand, or possibly doing a dry run the day before, and exchanging your voucher then. It's dead easy at Pireaus as Pireaus metro station is next to the port.
