ferry crossing spain - morocco

does anyone know what is the cheapest ferry crossing?

we'll be 2 people and a van and we're headed for west morocco.

I would just shop around when you get there. There are a bunch of different options, slow vs fast ferry, and the companies vary depending on your destination.

and there's no need to book in advance at this time of the year?

which place is usually cheaper to take the ferry at - algeciras, tarifa, any other?

www.elestrecho.com/viajes_mar. This homepage has links to all ferry companies except www.balearia.es. I suppose the cheapest crossing will be Algeciras - Ceuta by slow boat.

I don't know much about crossing with a vehicle but from what I saw the boats were packed. I bet you'll have to book at least a couple days in advance but I'm not sure.
