| anonymous14:39 UTC01 Mar 2007 | Hello there,
I am new to NE branch. Had done some research for accommodation particularly in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing but I cant seem to get anything meant as female dormitory.
Maybe I am wrong but could you guys help to suggest any hostels - as I normally go for solo backpacking - that fits my requirements?
Thank you

But the "Home Inn" chain hostel may be a good choice, clean,cheap...
the website only has Chinese...

| anonymous19:04 UTC02 Mar 2007 | Hello Ellyse,
I am most likely will be travelling in Aug/Sep timeframe, worst scenario is Nov. Just completed my 3-week's solo backpacking in different region, and money and annual leave are a bit problematic for the time being ;).
As normally I go for a budget hostel recommended by LP, and has no problem in staying in dormitory (opss only female dorm), my budget will be somewhere around USD10-15/day.
Yeah, I guess there's no such thing as female dorm in China as what #1 (flxjm) mentioned as searching ups and down in all hostels websites didnt give much promising. That's why asking for the expertise from the expert from this TT is the last resort :).
Thanks
