Faro to SevilleCountry forums / Western Europe / Spain | ||
Advice on getting from Faro airport to Seville using public transport ...we fly in and out of Faro but want to spend 3 days in Seville so do not want the hassle of driving/parking in city, would prefer to rent car in Seville to explore other areas of Andalucia after city stay. | ||
Off the top of my head as I don't have my books near me and I'm using the iPad for this... Bus from Airport to Faro, train from Faro to Vila Real do San Antonio, river ferry to Ayamonte then bus from Ayamonte to Seville. Was going to fly into Faro on our Andalucia road trip next year, but changed the plans as we're now flying into and out of Malaga instead... Our 2017 trip will be hand luggage only as usual... Did most of the above route earlier in the year apart from the bit from Ayamonte to Seville as we had a week on the Algarve in Tavira back in March... Others may have different ideas and will post accordingly. | 1 | |
Update to above after grabbing the current LP guide... Buses go from Faro to Seville - www.eva-bus.com - EVA buses also run the buses from Faro Airport into Faro... | 2 | |
Either Eva bus or Alsa bus run the route from Faro I think without looking there are 2 buses a day | 3 | |

Not so strange when you live on the west coast of Ireland...flights only to Faro or Malaga on 2/3 days per week...!! | 6 | |
