Experiencing Zulu culture

Has anybody got any advice on learning a bit more on Zulu culture on my to South Africa next month?
Shakaland seems to be very disney-style of course. Could be interesting though.
Has anybody been there and could tell me about it?
LP recommends Zululand Eco-Adventures in Eshowe; anybody familiar with that?
Besides the usual things like dances, sangoma visits, ceremonies, I'd love to see some reenactment fighting Zulu style. Do you know where to find this?

I can't give you the answer to this one but when I am looking to go to local ceremonies/events I use http://askvlad.info/. They basically hook you up with an actual local. I've had really good experience with them. Hope this helps.
