Can anyone tell me where the expat crowd gathers in Kegali? Will be travelling there in April and am looking to hunt up an old friend from Egypt- thanks!

Try to grab info from you embassy if present in town. as US citizen used to party together or French organise some meeting monthly maybe as advised by Fulana on Yahoo Group

Bourbon Cafe (both locations) are popular daytime hang-outs. In the evening try Papyrus, Republika and/or New Cactus. Also, the Mille Collines pool bar attracts a big crowd Thursday and Friday nights, 6-9PM
