Exchange / ATM at Accra Airport

Does anyone have any advice to exchange some money to cedis at the Accra airport upon arrival? Is the rates reasonable?

Are there any ATM's?

I don't want to exchange a lot, just enough to get a taxi to the centre.

There is an ATM in the baggage reclaim hall at the airport. You can always ask the taxi to stop at a cash machine as well - there's a Shell garage a couple of minutes from the airport which has an ATM, and quite a few in town, depending on where you are heading.

I think you can also change money at the airport - but have never done this, so others may be able to advise you on that. See what time your flight lands as well as it may not be business hours..

There is a money changer inside the baggage hall area, just a small window that's not clearly advertised who gave me good euro-cedi rates at around 11pm (BA flight arrival time)

Theres a money changer and at least one ATM inside the terminal, which worked with my UK card. There are a couple of others just outside as well. And loads in Accra itself

I exchanged Euros to cedis, this evening and the rate is reasonable. It equates to about 4% lost compared to interbank rates, and so is probably very similar to rates with the ATM.
