Hey all! I am in need of some assistance. I am travelling to Ireland mid September 2014. Thanks for your help
You might do, you might not. There are certainly stories about travellers on a one way ticket with vague or non existent plans being refused entry. OTH most travellers are questioned cursorily if at all. And some countries may (and I stress the may - I don't know which they are without looking it up) require a return ticket anyway. Main advice is to GET A PLAN at least for the first week or so. You don't have to stick to it once you are here. If you say you don't know how long you are staying you will have problems Does your budget stretch to a top price last minute ticket when it runs out? | 1
Thank you for your info. Correct me if you think I'm wrong. Tina | 2
The UK does not, formally anyway, require proof of onward travel. If they turn you away it's not because you don't have it, but because they don't believe your intentions. Having such proof helps confirm your intentions. Apart apart from that, fine. | 3
They do get a bit antsy these days in the airport if you travel on a one way ticket. You may want to check with the airline that has your reservation. | 4
