Enter Tajikistan (Khojand) from Batken or Isfana

Hello,
Does the borders between Isfana and/or Batken are open to Foreigners ? I am looking to enter to Tajikistan by the west of Kyrgyzstan, but I don't want to pass through an Uzbek region. Is it easy to enter by there ? I want to take a plane from Bishkek to there and then arrive in Khojand. Apparently there is no plane anymore between Bishkek and Khojand as the LP says.... true ?!

In 2006 I crossed overland from Khojand (Tajikistan) to Batken (Kyrgyzstan) overland. There are flights between Batken and Bishkek which eliminate the problem of the Uzbekistani enclaves between Batken and Osh. I imagine you can do the reverse trip, if nothing has changed since then. Be careful about Tajikistan registration laws though.
