EasyJet Route for Specific Time?Country forums / Eastern Europe & the Caucasus / Croatia
Hi all, I'm trying to get between Split and Milan Malpensa by flight via EasyJet, and although there are appears to be flights up until the end of August, there are no flights from September on. This is issue for me as I would like to fly back to Italy from Split in early September. Does anyone know if EasyJet runs certain routes for only specific periods of time? If not EasyJet from Split to Milan Malpensa, would my next best bet from Split to Venice via Volotea and then train from Venice to Milan? I could potentially fly from Dubrovnik too if need be, but the goal is to get back to Milan. Thanks for your help! nellstra
Vueling also have a few flights to Firenze. | 1
It may be just because EasyJet's winter timetable isn't fully ready yet. | 2
Yes, Easyjet has some seasonal only routes (and Split-Milan is one of them). Volotea from Split to Venice plus train Venice to Milan is an option. Another option would be Vueling from Split to Firenze plus train from Firenze to Milan... Your specific travel date is relevant as those flights aren't daily... | 3
As above...Easyjet (and most budget airlines)have a lot of summer-only routes. If you tell us exactly what day you want to fly,we can suggest the cheapest options possible on that day.... | 4
You could take an overnight ferry to Ancona and a train to Milano. It's more expensive than a flight, but I guess travelling by ship is more of an experience. I presume you don't travel as much by ship as by plane. You embark in the harbour of Split(a short walk from the old town) around 20pm, arrive to Ancona next morning, and after taking a train you can be in Milan by lunchtime. You're not much better off timewise if you take a plane in the morning to Milan, let alone from Dubrovnik. The ferry + train is more expensive of course, but keep in mind if you spend that night in a hotel in Split you'll pay about as much as for a cabin on the ferry. | 5
Hi all, Thanks for your responses. I'm considering either Friday, September 5th or Saturday, September 6th. nellstra | 6
You can a take a ferry on Thursday night and arrive to Milano by Friday noon. | 7
If you want to fly, cheapest is going to be Volotea to Venice and train from there to Milan....that goes on the fifth (early morning though). | 8
I'll be doing the ferry to Ancona and train from there to Milan. Thanks all! | 9
