EA visa in Nairobi

I understand that Kenya has recently rolled out a new e-visa system, and I have registered on the e-citizen site. My issue is that the only option is for a single entry visa, and advertises the East Africa visa as coming soon. I emailed to find out when "soon" was, but no response.

I will arrive in Nairobi mid OCT, and plan on over landing to Uganda and Rwanda. Any suggestions on what to do, if I can not get an EA visa online prior to arrival? I do not want to pay for each country individually, but I assume I now cannot show up in Nairobi without at least the single e-visa?

Couple of thoughts..

You may have to pay but think apon arrival into Nairobi you should have the option of an EAV..... someone I think will post to the trueness of this... make sure you have crisp $$..

I was under the impression that you must get visa from where you are coming from..are you in canada.... Kenyan visa there??

As a back-up which may or may not help.. I recently received my EAV on line via the rwanda embassy web site in Lusaka Zambia.. was very easy and they email you a signed copy and a note saying you pay upon arrival 100.... since there is no up front cost involved., you might as well.. you only have to specify the border entry point... atleast you would have one which you might be able to use in Nairobi.

Since lusaka embassies seem to be geared up on EAV, suggest you look for Kenyan embassy in lusaka abd look for the LINK to EAV....

Beyond this.. wait for someone to post whether you can get an EAV on arrival
