Dubrovnik to Trieste - bus, boat or fly

Hi there

I need to get back to Trieste for a flight to the UK. I am currently in Dubrovnik. I know there are daily overnight buses drom Dubrovnik to Trieste that take 15 hours... ayone have any other advice about how do do this trip?

You may take the boat to Rijeka, Dubrovnik dp Thursday and Sunday at 10.00, Rijeka ar next morning at 7.00. But you will find there neither a bus nor a train to Slovenia resp. Trieste until noon.

OR ferry over to Italy-Ancona, Bari and then IT-train, times on bahn.co.uk or google trenitalia.
