Dodi Princess from Akosombo - Is it worth doing?

My wife wants us to go on a "cruise" on Dodi Princess on Lake Volta as a weekend getaway. (I mean the boat going to Dodi Island; not the ferry going between Akosombo and Yedji)

-Have any of you taken it lately?
-What time does it leave Akosombo?
-When does it return?
-What should we bring along?
