Hello, Thanks with fingers crossed....
hi there, An instructor friend of mine has a similar problem, permanently perforated drums. He uses a mask which covers his ears and keeps them dry, they look a little silly, but they do the job by all accounts. Your ears stay completely dry and you equalize with your nose via handy wee tubes connecting your mask space with your ear space. I think Proear is one brand... Hope that helps, Ferg | 1
Thanks alot, I had heard of them but am not sure where to buy them from, but I'll definately look into it. Before, when i inquired in one dive shop, they told me that they didn't stock them & didn't know alot about them, yours is the first time I've actually heard about someone who successfully uses this type of mask, & sounds like he has similar problems, so that gives me hope, once again, thanks alot for that... | 2
Yes, check the Pro Ear 2000. It is made bu Saekodive, so if you google them you should be able to come up with a dealer. You can always come here to try them :) | 3
Thanks for the feedback, I went onto their website, proear200 & have now ordered a mask, can't wait to try it! I read loads of reviews on the internet about them & they sound like at last, I might finally be able to dive, so I am a happy woman right now! Hopefully by the time we get to Thailand, in another year or so, I will be qualified & able to dive properly, finally instead of sitting on the dive boat feeling sorry for myself as everybody goes down, I'll be down there too & loving every minute if it! I'll let you know how I get on & look forward to seeing you in Thailand.... | 4
