Dentists in Thailand?

Country forums / Thailand / Thailand

I am thinking about getting some dental work done in Thailand. I have no dental plan in Canada and the prices are a fraction of the cost I would be paying in Canada. Has anyone had experience with going to a Dentist in Thailand? I've reseached it and the facilities there seem to be very modern and the Dentists well trained. Just wondering if anyone has been to a Dentist there and can tell me what it's like, what I should be aware of and if you have any recomendation of Dentists to go to? Thank you very much.

Bumrungrad Hospital on Sukhumvit Soi 3. Just get any dentist there.

I like the dental school in Chiang Mai. As a farang, you will be attended to by the instructors, not the students. I noticed you are from Canada; there are also some great dentists on the Mexican side of the U.S. border at about 1/4 of U.S. prices.

I've had good luck with the Adventist Hospital in Bangkok. Good work, and as cheap as Chiang mai.

Adventist missions in the Third World - Asia, Africa, Latin America - usually sponsor dental clinics, and they are often the best in each country.

The better dental clinics in Thailand provide world-class work with all modern technology, but at a mere fraction of the N. American pricetag.
