damascus beer?

hi guys is there any where to have beer aruond the old city
so l didnt see any where bar etc

You can find loads of beer near the Bab Sharki, also neareBab Touma in the Christian Quarter; a well sorted liquor store also with beer is near the Hejaz trainstation; when you come down the road from the Sham Palace towards the Hejaz train station, the road on the right side before the main post office-direction Tequije as Sulemanije second or third building on the left hand; Barada is local damascus beer; I`d recommend lebanese al-Maza, which you can also get near BabSharki and around restaurants around Tahrir Place not far from Bab Touma

if you are looking around the OMayyad Mosque,you will not find. but going further to the Christian area you will find a lot!

I drink beer too but ZERO alcohol .I bought a carton Almazza by mistake ( normal beer )i am stuck with it .i have few bottles left in the fridge you are welcome to have a few a prexmas drink free

Beers to be had at the Cham Palace. Lobby is a bit tacky but they have live music in the evening.

if cost is a factor beer at cham palce cost around 5 bucks ,in the Old city 2 bucks and if you buy it from a liquor shop in the christian area 2 bottles for a buck
