what is the best time to dive in dahab???
I've always been on March which is alright(it may be windy). | 1
The summer months are supposed to be best for marine life and visibility ( even though I can't say that I noticed much difference year round - some days better, some days worse, always good). It IS very hot, but bearable most of the time as it is usually a bit windy, and certainly fine once you're in the water. The winter months can be a bit chilly, especially in the afternoon, but still o.k. Definetely need a good, thick wetsuit for those months. My favourite time is October - warm water, and pleasantly hot days, warm nights. | 2
Nov - Feb is a bit chilly in the water (21-23 degrees). 7mm needed if you are in the water for 60min otherwise you'll get cold. Jul-Sep the outside temps can rise above 40. Water temp 28-30. You will get burnt unless you cover up between dives. If you don't mind the heat I'd recommend that you go when it's warmer. You'll enjoy the diving more. I go 2 times a year and dive with Fantasea. They have great accommodation too. PM me if you want more details. | 3
