Cycling in many parts of Korea is suicidal & not recommended. Roads are narrow with no shoulders, at least in the rural areas I lived in, they were. You'd need to research any planned route carefully beforehand. | 1 | |
Although I agree with the poster above that cycling in Korea can be quite dangerous, it's usually not too bad once you're out of the cities if you can find some of the less-traveled roads. I usually go out every weekend for 2 or 3 hours, and although getting out of the city is a bit hectic, once you're out, the drivers tend to be more respectful and give you more space. Jason | 2 | |
