Cycling Celtic Shores Coastal Trail - Nova Scotia

I am going to by cycling on the trail north from Troy in a few weeks. I have a rough idea of which campgrounds and B&Bs (plus one hostel) we will be staying at but any input on that would help.

I am looking for a place to park either in Troy or Port Hastings or the general area. Can be paid parking or not but will need to leave the car for at least a week and up to two. Parking at the Troy trailhead would be ideal but, despite numerous inquiries to different organizations there, I have not been able to determine if it is possible to park there for that long.

Have you found an answer yet, if not I can put you in direct contact with the trail stewards

Yes we did get some feedback from a bicycle club. At their urging we spoke with the RCMP in Port Hawksbury. They told us it would not be a good idea to park at the trail head for that long. An officer suggested that we contact a tow company which I thought was a creative idea. We ended up booking a motel for the first night and hoping they would let us park for a week or so. They did and it worked out fine.
