Just wondering if anyone out there is in Phu Quoc at the moment and can fill me on the weather. I've searched web and it says thunderstorms so just checking my info is correct

I am there now, and it is warm and sunny. Last night was a little cooler than what I was used to in Cambodia. It rained a bit yesterday afternoon, fortunately I had checked into my guesthouse and was in the restaurant having a beer.

Hi,

Same (same) question again really! After reading a fantastic post by travelfish in the faqs, I now absolutely want to include Phu Quoc on my trip. This would mean going in the next week or so (in HCMC now, but my visa expires on 9th).

I've had a look at the weather, and it seems to be similar to the op - thunderstorms and 80% chance of precipitation. Can anyone tell me if this is the case? And if it is, should I definitely rule the island out, or is it still worth it despite the weather?

Thanks for any advice.
