Is it going to be potable? in the next 12 months?

Could you translate your question in to English please ?

1

Was it ever potable?

2

Possible. I was so sleepy sorry.

3

Because it looks like they are going to shut down the people to people program.

Trump is expected to make the announcement on Friday in Miami. From most of the reports so far it looks like there will indeed be changes to the licensing structure for travel but no specifics yet. Whatever he decides will take at least 30 days to be published in the federal register due to the required public comment period so until at least mid-July things will remain as they are.

As Daniel says - no specifics.

He could revert the March 2016 change and require "people to people" travel to be with organised groups.

He could revert the January 2015 changes and require that such travel be under a specific OFAC license rather than a general one.

I have not seen anything suggesting that "it looks like they are going to shut down the people to people program".

Of course, there are lots of ways that US citizens can travel to Cuba that are not "people to people" travel. (That is just ½ of 12 categories, for example).

oi, it looks he is cooking up something truly annoying, the Donald. We hate him so. As suggested by many, I think it will have to do with the categories and the check offs, not cutting off travel completely. So, going backwards, basically, in logistics. Which is perfect when people are already confused enough with the current check-off system. The airlines are just getting it together with their templates and selling visas, etc, and he has to come in and ruin it of course. I also have friends and family who just opened two businesses that need tourism to increase, so sucks all around for them and all others in that situation.

I set to go from June 27th to July 13 so not think it will make a difference there.

No matter what comes out of his mouth, Trump annoys the crap out of me every day.

I prefer the old DONALD

A possible preview of what's coming Friday,

I prefer this Donald. . .I grew up with him permeating my NYC and for that, he was fine. He was a total dick, always causing local feuds in life and in the newspapers, but he was a New York dick, so I could understand him. He wasn't that conservative then. I didn't imagine he would spread like a bad rash all over the country and while has was at it, inflate his ego beyond human recognition. It will be his ego he considers when he makes the Cuba decision, it's all about who will cheer him on the most.

You really think 30 days? We leave 6/25 for our trip to Cuba on people to People visa. And, I'm literally worried sick it's going to get cancelled on Friday. I've put off booking 2 different excursions because of this. Keeping my fingers crossed.
