We do like history and archeological sites, so this is a possibility, what is the site like. | 3
The DIY is not a challenge... Michel | 4

Google. | 6 | |
We were going to go with them, as that's who are holiday package is with, and thought it might be the easiest way, as they take you to the site, then one other place. | 7
Thank you kindly for the link | 8
Not something I would normally recommend but in the short space of time, I would think the tour would be the best option, both in getting around and to be given information. Whether you like the or not Thomson normally offer pretty good quality excursions. (but I would say that being an ex guide) | 9
Korfu Town to Saranda is an easy trip, 40 min across the straits. | 10
Thank you, I think we definitely go, it's just whether we do it ourselves or book a tour/trip | 11
You just need to buy a ticket for the hydrofoil (ferry). In peak season there should be three departures a day. | 12
ThAnk you, are there buses or would you get a taxi to Butrint Unesco site? | 13
And you have public buses between Saranda and Butrint. Michel | 14
Thanks, I will have a look for timetables, do you know how much tax you have to pay, to get into the country, when you get off the hydrofoil? | 15
I don't know the current (2017)situation but I don't think you have tax or then the tax is included with the ticket. Michel | 16
