Cheapest accommodation in YazdCountry forums / Middle East / Iran
Hi everyone! I'll be in Yazd for my second time, the first being in 2010. I usually do Couchsurfing or stay at the cheapest places I can find when I need some time for myself. So... does anyone know a tight-budget accommodation in Yazd? I don't mind shared toilets and hard beds. Thanks a lot! Jota
I have just been in Yazd and the good old Silk Road was still the cheapest I could find. Maybe you could try chouchsurfing but fellow travellers I met told me that more often than not the couchsurfing hosts also expect something around ten bucks per night. Silk Road was 12,-€ per night in the dorm this year. Have fun, Marcus | 1
Btw.: If you are a coffee addict: Turn right into tha maze of small alleys in front of the big mosque near Silk Road Hotel and walk straight on. After some 50 meters you will bump into a small café where they have a real Gaggia machine running and work only with illegal imported Illy coffee. Best coffee I had in three weeks! :D | 2
You can translate this page using Google Translate service and find the phone numbers and also, the prices. | 3

I guess if you are looking for dormitory section, I can suggest you followings (the price for a bed in dormitory section): Kohan Guest House, dormitory section 10 US$ Silkroad Guest House, and Orient guest House 15 US$ (I recommend these places), I heard of Dalan Behesht place also, if you are very much in low budget, with I guess 7 US$. If you are looking for also cheap places as well around Yazd, you may consider Varzaneh: Enjoy your trip! :) | 5
Does anybody knows for similiar accomodation (like Silk road) in Eshafan and Shiraz, with prices around 10 e for dorm bed? (Jota, have a nice trip!) | 6
In Shiraz take the Golshan Traditional Hostel, 15,-€/night, mixed dorm, with breakfast
| 7 | |
In Isfahan, you may consider Amirkabir hostel, sleeping like 10 USD per bed in dormitory section. | 8
Awesome guys! Not only you've solved my puzzle with accomodation in Yazd but also added some choices in Shiraz and Isfahan! For those planning a trip to Iran, I'd like to add that the Kurdish region is absolutely awesome, not only for its nature, but specially for the unbelievable kindness of its people. Highly reccomendable. Cheers! | 9
Hey, Marcus... I usually prefer atmospheric chaikhaneh's, but this tip is something to definitely check. I'll try that espresso :) Cheers! | 10
Back in 2010, in Shiraz, I stayed in a place called Esteghlal Hotel (nothing to do with the much more expensive Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel). Does this place still exists?
