Cheaper option to store luggage for a week near Chengi airport

Hi,
I am staying in Singapore just for a night before leaving for Malaysia where I am going to spend one week. I am looking for a place to store my luggage( 4 bags of 50 lbs each).
I found out that I can store luggage at Chengi airport but it would be a little expensive. Is there any cheaper option available? I need to store the luggage at some place close to the airport if possible.

I guess some of the hotels might allow this. Any thoughts?

I think your hotel is your best bet. If you stay there on your first night in Singapore, and have a night booked there when you arrive back, I'm sure they'll be happy to look after your luggage for you
