CHEAP FARE TO NEW YORK CITY FROM MEXICO CANCUN

DO YOU KNOW PLEASE OF AN AIRLINES WHO DOES CHEAP FARE TO NEW YORK FROM MEXICO(CANCUN) FOR BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER THIS YEAR?

Mexicana airlines has a fare sale for travel through December 1st to many Mexican destinations. That promotion ends at Midnight tonight, unless it's been extended in the pasts 24-hours since I visited that website.

I got a cheap flight with Jet Blue last Christmas for JFK to Cancun. Looks like there are flights for less than $400 including tax for the end of August and first week of September. Flying mid-week will get you the cheaper rates.

For some reason they don't seem to have flights scheduled after September 4. Maybe it's too far ahead to book them. You could always call and ask.

You have to keep checking websites. I went from Newark to Cancun for $160 in January--found it on Orbitz--but last time I checked Travelocity was showing cheaper rates than Orbitz.

always check out Travelzoo.com--go to "International" on the left side of screen.

And don't forget that"deals" out of NYC area sell out fast. Lot of people there that check the sites and jump on the deals.

And read just what the deal is--Example AA had a deal to Cancun recently with Taxes & fees of $239; their competitor had a deal a little higher but T&F was $106 making the competitor much cheaper.

i just found a flight for next November for $170 (NY-Cancun)
I flew the same last March for around $350
