Charming Villages Around Lake Lucerne

We are looking forward to spending a couple of days in Lucerne the first of October. Ofcourse, that will include sailing across Lake Lucerne. We would like to get off at maybe one or two charming villages....any suggestions? I am sure they all are lovely, but if any stand out we would like to know. We are happy just to stroll around, eat, and explore.Thank you...

Check Weggis, Vitznau and Brunnen (in this order). The other places aren't bad neither.
As to the weather, nobody knows wheter it will be sunny, rainy or if there will be fog in the morning.
