Carnival Barra - Salvador

Howdy..

O.K. I dont know if this post is too early but I´d like to hear off anyone who found good/cheap accomodation in either a hostel or renting (or alternative) around Barra or near enough for Carnival...someone must have used a good company or hostal they can pass on, a place which helped make their Carnival special!

The words cheap and Carnaval would not generally be found in the same sentence, when referring to Salvador anyway.
