Car rent by senior

Hy

My husband is 79 and we want to rent a car in Marrakesh.

Has anyone experience with renting a car by someone above 75?
I contacted Budget and Keddy.
They have no cars available and both charge extra for above 65 (Keddy) or 75 (Budget) but both have NO cars anymore.

....... when you write.. " but both have NO cars anymore." it isn't clear what you mean... it's possible you are going at a time when all hire-cars are booked or taken, so when are you going to Morocco and where do want to hire a car.?

Maybe I was not clear enough. We want to hire a car from Oct. 29 to** Nov. 15** , so 16 days in Marrakesh.
I phoned today to Sunny Cars but with no results.
For Budget we are too old (75 is their limit)
For Keddy they have no cars available for this period. If there should have be one, we would have to pay extra because of the age.

so the question is:
should we try to rent it at home
or
Should we rent is when we arrive in Marrakesh.
Of course we want to be sure that there is a car available.

..... your dates are ok not clashing with one of the big religious holidays, apart from the big international companies there are small local operators, staff at most hotel receptions usually have their details. It's down to the terms and conditions for insurance cover I imagine for most of them, a small local supplier might be better positioned to arrange cover if he had a few days notice.
