Calgary - anyone for tea

Country forums / Canada / Canada

HI, Im an aussie girl that is here in calgary visiting my best friend and her hubby. I am located Nth West - which I have recently learned is like living in the back of bourke. (please dont get me wrong I am very greatful to be staying here)

They work through the day and I have access to the car of a night time or through the day between 8am-4pm. I have gone to Banff a couple of times, done the +15 pathways and trecked along the river.

I have a 5 year visa for the states to branch out my international spiritual healing business. I have been here 2 weeks and I leave for Sedona on June 15th but will be back in Calgary around 1st week in August again.

However if you are a fellow traveller like me looking for someone to hang with then please leave a message. I am very active and love the outdoors. However I am just as happy seeing a movie, sitting in a cafe or attending a local dance party (raves).

Hope to find some people to share some time with.

Deb

Have you taken a drive down highway 22 south of Calgary? It's a fantastic highway and drive, very scenic. If you have time drive through Crowsnest Pass then west towards Fernie. After which you head NW then north to Radium hotsprings. Finally heading east towards Calgary again. I'd love to tag along but I'm in Saudi Arabia. Have a great trip Deb.

Sounds like you'd enjoy Kensington. There are lots of tea shops around (Higher Ground, Oolong Tea house) as well as interesting book shops, yoga and Native spirituality places in the area.
