Cabins/Cottages in Norway

Hi guys

I am planning to visit Norway in July for a honeymoon trip.
Can anyone suggest good cottages/cabins (Lakeside / Riverside) for 2-3 nights max, near Bergen or Flam or Balestrand. The ones I had checked were all booked :(

All the big agencies are renting out the cabins Saturday-Saturday. Especially in the high season. (July)

And you are VEY late for the good ones.

Going through the tourist offices as #1 advises is your best bet.

I am travelling to Norway end of May and I am thinking of staying in one of the cabins by the Norwegian Trekking association. They rent lodging cabins in mountains and in other uncivilized areas. You can look them up at www.turistforeningen.no/english, maybe this will help you.

We phoned Vangsgaarden directly and the manager we spoke to was really nice - as was the accommodation.
