buying plane tickets

Could anybody tell me if it is possible to buy plane tickets in BsAs with local pesos ? It would be cheaper than using a credit card.

Not allowed, so you will not from the airlines. Some travel agents will let you do it.

It's possible if you go to a willing travel agent and sometimes if you purchase tickets at the airport directly. But you can't count on it.
