| allykat10023:19 UTC09 Jan 2012 | Hi, My partner and I are looking at doing a solo horse trek in Mongolia. We are currently looking at different possible routes and are looking at the possibility of starting our journey somewhere other than Ulaanbaator (Uliastai or Olgii for example) and were wondering if it realistic to buy horses etc in towns such as these? Thanks!

| cdmarshm198413:32 UTC20 Jun 2012 | My wife and I are thinking about a similar trip. However, it will be substantially longer. We are looking to travel through Mongolia, part of Russia, Kazakhstan and the old eastern block. Does anyone have any information about getting the horse across the boarders between Russia and Mongolia?
