bus to Portumna

I've been trying to get schedule info from Kearns Transport but their web site is down for updating. We are arriving from US on Sat. June 6 at 8:30 AM and would like to take bus to Portumna. Is there more than one bus a day and what time does it leave? Does it leave from the airport? Any info would be appreciated.

Bus Eireann have a service from the airport, with a couple of changes if that´s any use.
Departs 14.00. Takes about 5h 30m.

I do not have an up to date timetable for Kearns Transport but they used to operate 3 services to Portumna on Saturdays. There was one at around 12/1pm another around 4 or 4:30 and another around 6. (Sorry - I don't remember the exact times) They leave from Cathal Brugha Street in the city Centre and take about 2:45 or 3 hours to get to Portumna.

Best thing to do is email them: info@kearnstransport.com or just ring them when you are in Dublin and find out the correct departure times for that day as you are arriving early so you will have a choice.

Hi,

A had a look at the bus stop, and there is a timetable attached. A few of the times had been marked out, so they probably changed the times relatively recently. The following is what was left:

Mon-Thu 18:00
Fri 13:00; 18:00
Sat 13:00; 16:30; 18:00
Sun 15:00; 17:15; 22:30

It notes that the bus may leave from somewhere else up the street, as it is a busy city-centre street.
