Bus from Puira to Trujillo

Hi Ive had alook for this info on line but not come up with what i need, wonder if someone knows if there is a company which runs a day time bus from Puira to Trujillo or even better if there is a direct bus from Puira to Huaraz.
At the moment the best i can find is arriving in Puira at 5am waiting around all day and leaving on a bus to Trujillo at 11pm and then having to wait another day to catch the bus to huaraz at 9pm the following night.
Im sure there must be an easier way, has anyone done this route recently??

Another interesting and little-traveled way to Huaraz (although not the fastest) is via Casma. Go with Transportes Huandoy (or similar, don't remember exactly), they take a rocky dirt road straight through the Cordillera Negra. To see how that looks, check out my videos of that trip here.

Transportes Chiclayo has the most frequent buses from Piura to Chiclayo
Emtrafesa has the most frequent buses from Chiclayo to Trujillo.
www.transporteslinea.com.pe</a> has the best bus company website, an ATM in Trujillo terminal, & buses to all Peruvian cities mentioned here.
Linea & Emtrafesa both have daytime buses Trujillo Piura.
Linea has frequent buses Trujillo Chimbote, & America Express even more, 1/2 hourly.
ITTSA has good night buses & a better terminal in Piura if you have to wait for the Transportes Loja terminal to open to continue to Ecuador.
Above are presumably both ways.
Turismo Huaraz & Yungay Express (both ways) & Huandoy (down only) via Cañon del Pato to Chimbote.
