I just picked up my e-ticket to London (UK, not Ontario) for December to February. Will be spending Christmas with my former husband (and best bud) and our son who has been working over there; he's getting ready to hit the road again. This will be our first Christmas together as a family since 1976, so should be a fun event (keeping fingers crossed; London is not high on my list of places I like to visit, especially in winter). If my luck holds out (it doesn't very often) I might pop over to visit a friend in Stockholm as well. We'll see.
not quite the south pacific!! but its good to see you are travelling again | 1
It is more than super to see that 'they' are permitting you to travel such a distance. | 2
Enjoy the London visit, Watsoff. It is a city that has so much to offer, even in winter. | 3
I absolutely LOVE London in the winter. It's a fabulous city regardless of the weather. Have a wonderful time and don't forget your coat, scarf, beanie and gloves. | 4
And don't forget your money. London is not cheap. | 5
Actually nowhere in winter is on my must do list, and I'm not a city person either. London in winter is almost worse than Vancouver in winter, or at least so much of a muchness it makes no difference, but I am determined to enjoy it nonetheless. Good reminder though, I had forgotten about packing a scarf and gloves. Will put them aside right now! | 6
Hey - sounds good. But anywhere would sound good to me right now. | 7
