Bolivian Pantanal and visa procedure..

Country forums / South America / Bolivia

  1. Does anyone know how hard/easy it is to organise a trip in the Bolivian Pantanal?
It seems most tours go from/to the Brazilian side.
Then I suppose you have to do the whole pasport procedure?

  2. In total you can get 3 months visa for Bolivia. I will fly in and out from Bolivia. Is it possible to cross the landborder into another country and return to Bolivia - or is that disrupting this 3 month visa procedure and not possible?

Thanks for any answers!

If you are from the Netherlands, there should be no charge even if you need a new Bolivian visa at the border on re-entering the country . If you want to visit the Pantanal, cross into Brazil via the border near Corumba. Getting a tour from Corumba or Campo Grande would be cheaper and better than you could get from the Bolivian side.
