I am about to go for a 40 day trip through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan & Iran. With my travel-mate, we opened a blog to share informations & experiences (travel preparation and then notes from the travel itself)

sounds fine but you will spend quite a lot days in Tehran, why?

In principle, my travel-mate has a couple of contacts in Teheran from university, so we were planning to hang out with them a bit. If that does not work, we are doing to extend the stay in North-West Iran
