Best way to get from Palu to Singapore?

Anyone traveled by plane from Palu to Singapore in about a two day period before? I saw that I could fly from Balikpapan to Singapore for 500 USD, seems a bit steep for Indo standards!! Any other recommendations? I know flying in Indonesia is dangerous, but so is life....

I'm sure the cheapest would be Palu to Makasar to Surabaya to Singapore OR Palu to Makasar to Jakarta to Singapore. You will probably need at least 2 or 3 separate bookings for this route (1 or 2 domestic bookings plus 1 international booking).
